Paper Statements And Other Fee Info
Since November 2024, we have waived paper statement fees to ensure a smooth transition for our clients. Beginning February 3, 2025, paper statement fees will be reinstated, as communicated in your Welcome Guide. If your account is enrolled in e-Statements, you will not be charged a paper-statement fee for that account. Please note, e-Statement enrollment is at the account level, so you have the option of enrolling in e-Statement or receiving paper statements for each account.
Here’s what you need to know:
- Some checking accounts offer paper statements at no additional charge.
- Otherwise, a paper statement fee of $2 per statement cycle is assessed for accounts that receive paper statements.
- Paper statement fees for other accounts are also waived or reduced for clients who meet certain requirements:
- Clients who are 50 years old or older and have a Momentum Checking account can also combine their Momentum Checking account statement with other checking, savings, money market or certificate of deposit accounts to avoid paper statement fees for the combined accounts.
- Clients who are not 50 years old or older can combine their other checking, savings, money market or certificate of deposit account into one statement and pay just a single paper statement fee of $2 per statement cycle.
- Clients who have a Relationship Checking account can also combine their Relationship Checking account statement with other checking, savings, money market or certificate of deposit accounts to avoid paper statement fees for the combined accounts.
To avoid paper statement fees entirely, enroll in free e-Statements via Orrstown Bank’s online or mobile banking platform. Clients can also enroll in free e-Statements for their loan products.
Steps to Enroll in e-Statements
- Log in to Orrstown Bank online or mobile banking.
- Navigate to the “Statements & Documents” section in the menu.
- Review and accept the disclosure to enroll in electronic statements. If you are already enrolled in e-Statements for your products, you will see them here.
By choosing electronic statements, you not only save on monthly fees but also contribute to reducing paper waste and environmental impact. Electronic statements are secure, easily accessible and can be conveniently archived for your records.
Fee Refunds & Waivers
We want to take a moment to address recent account fee activity and ensure you are fully informed about the steps we have taken to support our clients. Your satisfaction is important to us, and we are committed to enhancing your banking experience. For clients affected by the below fees, please note:
- Paper Statement Fees charged between November 11, 2024, and December 31, 2024, have been waived or refunded. Clients who were already charged this fee should saw the fee reversed on December 13.
- Monthly Service Charge Fees charged between November 11, 2024, and December 10, 2024, have been refunded.
- Excessive Transaction Fees charged between November 11, 2024, and December 10, 2024, have been refunded.
- Overdraft Fees charged between November 11, 2024, and November 22, 2024, have been refunded.
If you have been charged any of these fees during these periods, the charges have been reversed, and you should have seen the refunds reflected in your account(s) by December 13, 2024.
