Overview of the Systems Integration
Over Veterans Day weekend, from November 8-11, 2024, Orrstown Bank and PeoplesBank will integrate our banking platforms. This process includes the transition of all PeoplesBank accounts, products, and services to Orrstown Bank’s offerings. Existing Orrstown Bank products will also be updated. All PeoplesBank locations will reopen on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, as Orrstown Bank locations.
We understand the inconvenience that integration-related service disruptions may cause, and we appreciate your patience. Our team is committed to making this transition as smooth as possible and to addressing any issues quickly.

Key Dates to Remember
- Friday, November 8, 2024: All Orrstown Bank and PeoplesBank branches will close at 3 pm for the integration process. Online banking, mobile banking and telephone banking will be unavailable starting at 6 pm.
- Saturday, Sunday, Monday (November 9-11, 2024): Branches will remain closed, with limited access to accounts.
- Tuesday, November 12, 2024: Branches will reopen as Orrstown Bank, and full access to online, mobile, and telephone banking will resume.
What This Means for You
During the integration weekend, you may experience temporary limitations on account access. To help you prepare, we encourage you to plan ahead:
- Limited Account Access: From November 8-11, 2024, online banking, mobile banking, and telephone banking services will be unavailable. Account balances will not be visible at ATMs, but debit cards will still function for cash withdrawals and purchases.
- Bill Pay: Bill payments due before November 15, 2024, should be scheduled before November 8, 2024, to avoid any delays.
- ATM Access: While cash withdrawals will still be available at ATMs, Orrstown Bank ATM deposit functionalities will be limited leading up to the integration weekend. Please see the list below for a schedule of affected ATMs. Full ATM access will resume on November 12, 2024.
ATM Network
As of Tuesday, November 12, all PeoplesBank ATMs will be fully converted to Orrstown Bank ATMs. Clients will enjoy complete functionality, including the ability to make withdrawals, deposits, and check balances across the expanded Orrstown Bank ATM network. Please note that ATMs outside of Orrstown Bank, including those at Sheetz and Rutter's, may charge a usage fee. When you use a non-Orrstown Bank ATM, you may also be charged a fee by the ATM operator or any network used and you may be charged a fee for a balance inquiry even if you do not complete a funds transfer.
Orrstown Bank ATM Deposit Functionality
In preparation of the integration between Orrstown Bank and PeoplesBank, the below Orrstown Bank ATMs will not have deposit functionality starting on the dates below. Clients will still be able to make withdrawals at these ATMs, and full ATM functionality, including deposit services, will be available starting on November 12.

Account Access After the Integration
When branches reopen on November 12, 2024, clients will experience enhanced banking tools:
- Checks and Debit Cards: Legacy PeoplesBank clients can continue using their checks until December 31, 2025. New Orrstown Bank debit cards will be issued starting in January 2025.
- Direct Deposits: Your deposits will continue to post correctly. Legacy PeoplesBank clients should update their employers with the new Orrstown Bank routing number (031315036) after November 12, 2024.
Digital Banking Updates
Legacy Orrstown Bank Clients:
- From Friday, November 8 through Monday, November 11, online banking services will be unavailable. Starting Tuesday, November 12, you will see a new online banking experience when you log in at orrstown.com using your existing login and password.
- New Orrstown Bank App: Starting Tuesday, November 12, you can download the new Orrstown Bank mobile app from Google Play and the Apple App Store. The current Orrstown Bank mobile app will no longer function. Please download and install the new app starting Tuesday, November 12 to ensure continued access to your accounts. Until that date, please continue to use your existing Orrstown Bank mobile app.
Legacy PeoplesBank Clients:
- From Friday, November 8 through Monday, November 11, online banking services will be unavailable. Starting Tuesday, November 12, please go orrstown.com to log in to online banking using your existing login and password.
- New Orrstown Bank App: Since October 22, legacy PeoplesBank clients can use the new Orrstown Bank mobile app, logging in using your existing credentials. You can download the new Orrstown Bank mobile app from Google Play and the Apple App Store.
- The PeoplesBank mobile app will no longer function after December 4, 2024
